• 52% of the 170 open heart surgeries performed at BC Children’s Hospital were on patients younger than a year old.
• BC Children’s Hospital provided expert care to over 85,000 children.
• BC Children’s Hospital treated an average of 631 children a day.
• 706 children received active treatment for cancer at BC Children’s Hospital.
